Ingram Lee Foundation Scholarship Recipients

In 2015, we awarded a onetime $5,000 scholarship to Kiari Kinnie to attend the University of Alabama.  Kiari’s effort and resilience convinced us we had to do more for her so The Board unanimously agreed to award her the $5,000 scholarship annually during her four years of college.

Alexandra Stadler, our first NOCCA scholarship recipient, informed us that she is on the Dean’s list at University of New Orleans with a 3.6 GPA.  Aly achieved this goal while working two jobs and holding three positions in her sorority at the university.

Lauren Pedeaux, our second NOCCA scholarship recipient, informed us that she has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2015 Term.  Lauren will be studying abroad at The Ecole Nationale Superieure de Patisserie in Yssingeaux, France in the coming months.

Arieanna McKnight, our third NOCCA scholarship recipient, attended Dillard University where she is majoring  in urban studies while continuing her quest to improve the quality of foods offered by schools in the greater New Orleans area.

The Board recognized the generosity of all who contributed at the various events in 2015 and felt it prudent to pass this success on to the students in the way of scholarships.  We were able to fully fund our annuity at University of Alabama in 2015 one year earlier than anticipated because of the success of our events.  In 2016, The Board changed our onetime $7,500 NOCCA scholarship into a 4 year scholarship valued at $20,000.
