Abigail Christine Anderson (BeBe)
Abigail, known as BeBe to her friends and family, is a driven entreprenuer who will not allow adversity to get in the way of her goals. BeBe has developed her love for baking and started selling pastries and cakes from a small business at home long before attending NOCCA. In 2017 she was accepted into the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts Culinary program and has earned her certificate of artistry there over the past four years. She was the second student in NOCCA’s culinary program to earn an "A" as a level one student. BeBe also earned the Presidential Honors Award in culinary as a junior while maintaining a 4.2 grade point average in her academic classes. BeBe attended the world food championships and advanced to the semifinals with her team. This summer she plans to intern at the Theo chocolate factory in Seattle Washington and study under a local pastry chef in Hammond learning to make croissants and much more. In the fall of 2021 she will start at Nicholls State University as a culinary arts major with a focus in business entrepreneurship. BeBe will be enrolling in the honors program at Nichols State University with plans to participate in their study abroad program.
